The material that this was painted on, gives the picture an older look to it. It's like this picture was kept in your family history because of the extent to which it was accurate in foretelling something to come during a time of great uncertainty. If feels like this was a dream that was had by a child. The path in front of him was enshrouded in a mist. The place itself was mostly good with some level of danger in it. But it just feels like this would have been such a strong dream because you are so uncertain about where you are and where you are going. You don't know what lies up ahead that path, but you know that you have to go forward. While yet you have this assurance that you will succeed where someone else had failed (the dead tree). Nice picture!

Hi! It was nice to meet you
So when I was painting it I was dreaming about the autumn in Japan's forest. And I had no care about what it will look like when I'll be done.

It looks like the Sakura tree is on the sea or near mountains on a foggy morning
