Jest sayin... the pencil would be jabbed from his back, so his skin or whatnot wouldn't be ripped out backwards, it would be going inside his body, along with the pencil...and erasers aren't that long... but anyway, you might already know this, but just saying, for future referance.

I definitely enjoyed looking at this. Your style is really refreshing. I love how you bind the figures in your works with hints that they might break free or will be forever binded - which isn't completely bad. This reminds me of the literal version of "putting my blood, sweat and tears into my work"...except with a lot more blood.

Ah, impalement...
This is really amazing to me. I'm not sure how else to explain it. I've been sitting here for several minutes, attempting to articulate why. But if it were about expression through words, I suppose it would have been a written work and not a drawing.
It just seems a very accurate depiction of what happens with artists and the people they dig.
His limbs and face are in suspension, as well as the pencil. All control is lost and focus is on her. And all the art is just that same emotion pouring straight onto the paper, with little inbetween.
Not that I know much about art. I just like it lots.
