I left after a couple of snarky comments from family/friends (mostly as a joke) that I was drawing ponies in high school and it was a little discouraging to keep going. I also wanted to branch out in content a little seeing as my non-pony art on DA didn't do nearly as well as my pony related stuff lol.

Surprisingly my family is really encouraging, my mum knows I earn from my pony related work. But I do understand how your non pony work doesn't get as much attention. It's the same with mine, but honestly, who cares. Keep post what you love, others will come along soon enough, I've been posting what I love and I've been slowly gaining a following that likes all my content, you just gotta be patient
