This one took me 10-15 hours. The inspiration for this piece was a line from "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" which, oddly enough, is playing as I'm posting this. I've wanted to do a vampire pic for a while and when I heard "Threatened by shadows at night and exposed in the light" in the song this idea kind of popped in my head. This has to be my favorite piece from your gallery, as I have been exploring it, because it reminds me so much of Vampire: The Masquerade, which will always hold a special place in my heart.
I like the crop, too, it lends more to the piece to only be able to see half the picture.

Thanks very much, glad you like it! I never played V:tM because there was never anyone around that was interested in it but I always bought their books just to look at the artwork. I still have them to this day.

The artwork was amazing, honestly. It was probably the best part of the game if the group you had to LARP with was terrible, which in most cases, they were. There were only a few very successful groups in my area, I was unfortunately only part of one. The costumes are really the highlight next to the artwork.
And yes, I really do like this

This is beautiful! There are very few people who can successfully manipulate a photo to the point that it looks as if there were no photo involved at all. Nice work.

Hehe, the reason for that is because this is not a manip. This is a freehand painting in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos 2 tablet, the photo was only used as reference.
