So, this has been a really busy week. For the past year, I've been planning on making a really elaborate dress for my doll. For the past month or so, I've been planning to make a dress based on a Marie Antoinette postcard that I bought from Versailles. It's so beautiful, and I just love Marie Antoinette.And this is the final photograph. I took a lot. I went to Market Bosworth but the ones I took there weren't what I wanted. So I went into my garden instead and got my favourite photograph

Gosh, looser stringing? That must take some patience. My friend has a loosely strung doll and I have no idea how she manages with it. I get so jealous of the dolls that can pose so well and make it look so effortless!!

I agree, I'm jealous of the natural posers! 5stardoll makes great posers but strings very tightly, so my girl is only strung a bit looser now. She holds poses like a dream, but I have to fight with my Soom to get him to do even the simplest things! x_x

5stardolls are so beautiful! She must be wonderful to work with, rather than your Soom! I bet that's a nightmare! I remember when I first bought my second doll and when he touched his face, I was so shocked because my first had never done that before!!

Ahaha, I know that feeling, my first doll was single jointed so when I got my double jointed 5SDs... I couldn't believe that their arms could do things!! Sueding helps, but my Tinyfairy girl still doesn't like to do much of anything. xD

Hehe, ironically, they're MSD size! But Pocket Fairies are tiny and they're adorable, too. <3 I love Blue Fairy's dolls; even though they're single jointed, I've always felt like my girl is the highest quality doll I own. :3 They're definitely unique!

There's a doll from eluts, I think, and it's a resin face but the rest of it is fabric. It looks amazing

Aw, thank you! And isn't the size difference between them crazy? The Puki Puki is unusually small and the Soom is unusually big, so posing them together is funny. xD
Oh, I've seen the fabric Luts doll! So darn cute. They're still pretty expensive though! If they weren't I'd get one in a second. :3

I absolutely love seeing the huge dolls that are 90cm tall! Although I haven't seen them hold a 10cm doll, but that would be mental!!
I also want one, they are adorable! Although I'm not sure about them standing! My doll has enough trouble with that as it is, never mind having fabric feet lol!

I can imagine it is easier to pose, unlike my doll's joints that snap into place and decide on their own. But I really can't imagine it being able to hold or even stand on those fabric feet XD

Agreed! Seeing dolls from the smallest to the tallest was mind-boggling at the first meet I went to. @_@ I don't even think I wanted a Pukipuki before I held one! Turns out they're too cute to resist. xD
Oh yeah, I'm sure it can hardly hold its heavy resin head up, nevermind stand, haha. xD Something interesting I've seen for posing actually is a doll body made of silicone with a metal skeleton... Its joints don't show at all and it bends almost naturally, it's cool but bizarre at the same time!

I'm always in awe of big and small dolls as I rarely see them so they are always a shock to me
They look absolutely amazing, don't they?? I was so confused the first time I saw them, they looked so real and I didn't realise they could move as they looked so perfect! Have you seen that doll with so many joints that it can pose almost anything, even really difficult positions? I wonder what dolls will be like in a few decades and how wonderful they will be

Hehe, agreed, the sizes are surprising! Aw, one of these days you should get a 10cm tiny, aside from Pukipukis I've fallen for Brownie dolls... you can still get some of the old ones secondhand for a good price! x3 They're so much fun to pose and take pics with. <3
They really are amazing! 0_0 With no visible joints they look like they shouldn't be able to move, but wow, the poses they can make... hopefully more companies come out with some designs like that. :3 Not sure if I've seen the doll with the many joints, sounds amazing though! I hope I will have dolls who can do that someday. xD I'm really considering a Dollfie Dream because of how pretty they pose.

Doll Leaves do little baby ones for £50 - Hujoo do ABS ones for £20 or something ridiculous. Ah I wish I could just win the lottery and buy all the dolls in the world...
There are life-size silicone sex dolls, which are very disturbing but they have more realistic faces. Here is a clothed SFW doll lol [link] I think their faces are really bizarre and of course, it'd be great to remove their wigs and eyes like BJDs. But then they are life-size and not so cute as the 10cm dolls
And then we could also have a little doll friend <3 Although, after leaving my dolls sitting on a shelf while I go out and telling them off for falling over I don't think they'd be my friend haha.

It would be cool if they would make SD sized dolls like that, they look so real. >_> I would be much more interested in collecting and customizing than... what they are currently used for LOL!

I love really tiny dolls but I've thought about getting a big one because the Dollmore Lusion dolls are really pretty and cool... they're basically like a toddler without any maintenance, hehehe. xD

Oooh... You know those reborn dolls? And some dolls have things inside them so they look like they're breathing and stuff... imagine having a doll that made tiny little movements like that... That would be really creepy and REALLY cool!!
