ARTIST'S COMMENTS

This is *PearlyPony 's character Robert, in his Friesian form. I love all black horses, especially Friesians, so this was a real treat to me! It turned out a bit different from the original idea, but hopefully for the better.

She also requested a robin in the picture, as we both share the love for these gorgeous little beings. He was a little tricky to draw, and he still looks a bit out of place, but I tried my best.

I used a few references used for both the horse and the bird. It was the first time I've drawn a completely black horse, so I was a bit unsure about the highlighting.
