Description Commission for

ARTIST'S COMMENTS

This is a painting of the gorgeous stallion Heros, and the little bunny Black. It was quite a challenging picture to draw, since I'm still not too familiar with lighting from behind, but it was also a lot of fun experimenting with the shading and light. I hope it looks alright, coz I have nothing really to compare with. I know the colour of the horse should probably have to be a bit darker in comparison to the light, but I wanted to keep it like that so that you would be able to make out some sort of shading at least.

This is absolutely amazing. The lighting is great, even if the horse does look a little spotlighted, as you mentioned. The softness of the background is tangible, and the water is great.

I love how you added a rabbit and a horse--animals most people rarely ever put together, but animals I absolutely love. Great job!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it I know the horse probably didn't turn out as well as it should have, and I'd like to go back and redo it one day, but I just really wanted to draw that background The rabbit was a bit of an odd request, but I do agree with you

When I looked at this, I immediately saw the beautiful sky and the pretty grass and wildflowers. And the bunny is so cute!
