I wanted to try out a painter tutorial but at the last min, I just switched back to PS. I'm so used to ps that I can get similar things, just need to learn to get better at it.Related content

I think vector wouldn't have as much lines around the character. at lest, I dont like it when that happens.
I'm actually trying for a painterly look but it never looks right so I end up smoothing everything out. I'm getting better at that

Have you experiment with different brushes. I myself is starting to do that. I always want the paintery look too. So I am starting mix and fiddle with ps brushes, and even try to look online. Right now for a picture i am doing i am using two different brushes to color it in. I know in the end I wont have the paintery look but it would be something different from just airbrushing all the time.

I only use air brush for a final glow affect not for painting in. I use different opacity to get it to blend
