The fight between Jack and Dr. Acula continues. The effects of the Transformo-Ray are starting to manifest, much to the confusion of Jack and the curiosity of the Doctor.Did the art a little differently on this page. Only did one actual background, I'm not great at them; and as basic as gradients and flat backgrounds look I think the mediocre drawn-out ones looks worse. they really drag the page down. Plus the extra work I put into them detracts from the art on the characters.
Also left out the shading, I think it makes it look more comic book-ey. And less work is always better.
And I apologize for those hands at the bottom. I had it pictured in my head before I drew the page; but when it came time to draw I couldn't get it to look right. Looking back at it now it doesn't look as bad as I thought it did, and I think it still gets the point across; but I know it's not great. :\
The more astute amongst you can probably tell what's happening to poor Jack, even if the fun stuff won't happen until the next page. Enjoy.
