CONTEST SUBJECT: #POKECONTEST
Many of us have grown up with Pokemon and spent a lot of our childhood playing the games and watching the show. I was one of the many kids that also drew sketches of the original generation back when I was playing Pokemon Yellow. Now Pokemon Go has taken over the world and what better way to live our nostalgia then to have a drawing contest reflecting that!
The challenge is to draw/paint/sketch yourself as a Pokemon trainer in your own style alongside at LEAST one pokemon. We are looking for originality within the established theme of the Pokemon universe. We are looking for either a finished concept art piece or a full illustration showing off the character (we encourage the illustration but rendered concept pieces have won in the past). The character must be a version of yourself at whatever age and the Pokemon cannot be made up or fusioned. Show us your spirit and energy within a single look, and above else try to challenge yourself while having fun!
IMPORTANT: We have a few requirements that the design has to include to be eligible for judging! They MUST have the following:
A character (representing yourself) as if you were in the Pokemon world.
A Pokemon (1 minimum, no maximum) of any generation but no fusions.
A Pokeball must be present somewhere in the piece, whether on the character or in the illustration.
And Bonus points if you're representing your team colors (Team Instinct, Mystic, and Valor)
Bottom line: The challenge is to create a version of yourself in the Pokemon world accompanied by a Pokemon of your choice. I believe in having fun while learning so make the most of it!

RULES:
The rules are simple and to the point. Submit by the given date and follow the guidelines on creating your entry!
Submit your entry by 6PM CST on Tuesday August 30th 2016 (-5 GMT time) The winners will be announced on August 31st during the livestream held that Wednesday.
Has to be your own work, concept, or line-art and follow the submission guidelines below. (NO STEALING OR TRACING)
Explore your creativity and treat this as if you were a concept artist receiving the task. You want to express your originality within these guidelines to the best of your ability
