idk, was time for a new one. I never draw NQN!bunny anymore. :I

ffff I've been in such an art rut lately with my own characters. I've been doing a lot of conceptual story work though, hopefully that'll get going into something more concrete soon! ie. COMICS, wo

COMICS? DID I READ COMICS? YESH PLZ CHELSEA! DO MAKE COMICS!!! NQN is far too intriguing and kickass to remain unrealized!!! Pleeeeease, someday, make our dreams come true Chelsea, pleeeeease! XDXD Na, no pressure, but it would be really cool. I wish you super good luck with the scripting and all, that stuff can be pretty hard, but I'm sure you can do it. YOU ARE AWESOME!!

So that people know she is a girl! It was either that or a bow on her head.

She always looked like a girl to me. Well, more than Krysty anyway. XD I grew up with all tomboy girls, and actual girly-girls weird me out.

Neat ID!

And yeah, it's this thing about comics, they are hard to start... I've been trying to get out of post-graduation rut too, I GOTTA start doing comics again this summer... So hopefully we will both do it!

It's the STORIES! There are so many stories that I have that I haven't really fleshed out at all and I can't figure out which one to do first and I have a pretty good idea of how they should start but I'm not clever enough to figure out endings! X) And there are all these things I want to do but I'm like "no because why would they do that" or "no that is such a cliche thing to put in there" or whatever. AUGH I SUCK AT STORYTELLING, I give my utmost respect for comic artists and writers everywhere!

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR'S THOUGH 8D

Do the most finished one first (and preferably a shorter one because longer comics are harder to do and you'll figure out a ton of things you'd want to change along the way)!

I have an issue with the middle - I easily come up with beginnings and I'm usually pretty sure about what I want in the end but everything in between takes some thinking. When I get stuck with stories I write down a sort of a script with bullet points or draw a tiny storyboard. It usually makes the idea sound a bit stupid but if it survives that it's ready to go!

Augh I need to figure out how to fix that unfinished TT comic, there are so many things I don't like about the last pages.

Hehe yeah, but I'm just thinking in terms of introducing characters... Like, what order I should do that in and stuff. Or maybe starting off with longer one page short scene kind of things instead of just launching into a full story. maybe

aaaahh

Haha I do that bullet point thing and thumbnails! 8D I have a small sketchbook completely dedicated to story ideas that I carry around with me everywhere. I've only started doing it recently because it always seems like when I think of some dialogue or a scene that I really like, I end up forgetting it once I get a pencil in my hand. So now I try to write it down right away. That really helps sometimes because it can sound awesome in my head, but then when I go to write it down, I think of all these new things or why that wouldn't work or whatever. d:

Geez, long comment is long. Thank you for listening to my story troubles X)

I have a small sketchbook for that too! Because if I start putting all those fast thumbnails and bits of dialogs in my regular sketchbook I just end up thinking "Naaah, I'll refine it a bit first..." or put it off and forget.

Oh man I just realized that I totally avoided properly introducing most characters. I need to think of it too but I think I'll get away with some kind of intro page that can fit in front of any story.

Haha, no problem, I like talking about these kind of things!

Haha me too! That, and I go through quite a few sketchbooks and all my notes and stuff tend to get lost. D8

Aahh but your characters are very well portrayed and their backstories are described everywhere! (: I like the way you "introduce" them by just... having them already there, it's like the reader is coming in already knowing them and then reading them interact is enough. ffff that doesn't really sound like a compliment, but it is X) I just have so many characters that I can't just start off with all of them there. I have to introduce them slowly. D:

Aw, I'm glad you think so!

I think you could do the same (like just let them be there) but if you think you have to introduce them properly definitely do so! I think it's mostly sci-fi elements that need special introducing (like the concept of time travel in your story and robots with fur) but I think you'll do it great any way you do it! Can't wait to see it all!

And ugh, I'm freelancing right now and it puts off all my comic plans a bit further. I dunno how people multitask and update comics weekly, ever since I started on this project I haven't done any personal art at all! But it's not a long project and maybe I'll learn to be more productive by the end of it.
