Description
It feels as if my heart is holding its breathIt's afraid of what would happen if it slowed down
If it stopped racing, pulsing, pushing the blood through
It needs to take some time for itself now
To stop carrying the weight of others
And just focus on healing its wounds
I can feel the pressure in me
You are making it build
I feel the pulse forcing its way through every vein in my body
This race is becoming too much for me
My body can't handle this rush for much longer
The pressure must subside before I close my eyes

thanks - it was literally just one of those days where there was no time to stop and have a break, i wrote it in my head as i power-walked to try and catch a bus!haha
