Even though this is 2 months old, you have a good point there. There wasn't really anything wrong with them. Guess they wanted to make them more local or something. Not a good move at all back then to be honest, even though I like some of the dubbed episodes. Wish they could have done a better job long ago so things didn't get screwed up with dubbed anime.

I feel the same way... they used to do some pretty weird things... Donuts? That doesn't look like a donut! But what's more weird about Pok'emon is well... pok'emon... do humans eat pok'emon? I guess they do... kinda like eating your pet, though... weird... makes me wonder about pok'emon "breeders" eh... Brock... ???

If you were talking about that part with the Magicarp, then yeah, that didn't make sense to me either. Man some Japanese things can be pretty weird, even if not edited for different audiences. Oh well, guess that's life for us.

How about eating a Miltank? Or a pidgey? Is there a chicken pok'emon? Or those creepy ice-cream pok'emon. ICE CREAM SHOULD NOT BE ALIVE!!! THAT'S TERRIFYING!!! I DON'T WANT MY ICE CREAM TO BE ALIVE!!! Anyone else think those things are kinda nightmare fuel-ish... do people just tackle those things and start licking them to death?

To be honest, I never saw that kind of stuff when I saw Pokemon when it was broadcasting on Cartoon Network or whatever channel I saw the series on when I was younger. But even so, you have a point that that could be somewhat disturbing, or even outright. Hope they don't do that in future episodes, or even in the games themselves.

I watched it when it first aired in America on UPN... that's how old I am. I was 7 when it first aired here, the perfect age for that to be... if you didn't watch Pok'emon that morning you were slightly outcast all day. It was pretty much a mandate... XD... I laugh about it, but it's true. At my school they used to have us line up every day before class to go to class and Pok'emon was EVERYTHING TO US. I mean, EVERYTHING, especially collecting the cards, although I had no clue they were for a game until 2 years later when I joined the Pok'emon League and I was THE ONLY GIRL for a whole year, and b/c of the status of my clothes, I like boy clothes, and I always wore my hair up in a ponytail stuck right back through the back of my "Ash-hat." Yes, I have one, two actually, b/c I somehow got hold of my bro's as well... you know, the hat he wears, his special "league hat." I felt a mandate to wear my one pok'emon shirt, that hat, and cargo pants every Saturday morning when I went to League. Those were the days... now that store is a GNC... and my childhood was destroyed when I saw that... they even got rid of the restaurant we used to eat at after every League meet! (CRIES) Anyway, pok'emon was my life for about 3 to 4 years. (Making people think I was a boy was a hobby of mine for a while... at Pok'emon League... it was so freaking hilarious when this boy said...and... I knew he was talking about me... "he's so good." Then I turned around, tapped his shoulder and said, "Hey, I'm a girl." (XD) The look on his face... he was so shocked...
After the second set of Pok'emon I had had enough... League ended, and Pok'emon just started to kind of suck... see when I was in League you couldn't pay your way to winning. Now I've seen the cards my little cousin has... it's so phoney... the rate at which Pok'emon have been "inflated" just so they could sell more cards is crazy... bleck... I got trashed by a 10 year old, just b/c his cards were newer... I'm still mad about it. Totally unfair! GRRRRR!!!
