Finally completed the famous Six Fanart Challenge that was going around recently! All characters shown were suggested by the kind folks on Twitter. And as you can tell, we have quite a variety here!

The characters are as follows:

Miko Kubota [Glitch Techs]

Well this was a give, considering she's one of the most popular characters on the internet right now. Either way I was planning to do art of her, so I'm glad to try it here. I drew her in my style, but with a subtle change to her eyes to reflect her Asian ethnicity.

Kiazuki [Hanazuki: Full of Treasures]

So apparently Hanazuki is a web series on YouTube which I had no knowledge of. Gave the first episode a watch just for the heck of it and It was... okay, I guess. Obviously I'm not the target demograph, so what do I know. Anyway, I drew Kiazuki style-accurate to the show, which turned out a lot better than I expected given its simplicity.

Senko-san [The Helpful Fox Senko-san]

Foxgirl Senko was too cute to pass up drawing~
I decided to got with the maid costume instead of the shrine maiden outfit she is usually associated with. As with Miko, I also drew her in my own style keeping with the standard eye designs this time.

Batman [Batman: The Animated Series]

Probably as close as I will get to melding my own style with the one from the show. Most notable is the shape of his chin compared to how it looks in the series. Quite surprised by how well he turned out considering that I wasn't confident drawing him during the draft stage.

Mega Man X [Mega Man X series]

Megaman X (or Rockman X for you Japanese folk) was probably the easiest to get right thanks to my experience drawings machines. I also added panel lines to his head, body, and blaster for additional detail.
Just like with Miko and Senko, I drew him in my own style.

Godzilla [Godzilla]

Big-G was an interesting one. Similar to Batman, I tried to combining the design from the old school movie with my own style which resulted in a look that doesnt quite mimic the ones from the suggestions (which fyi, I have no idea which era it was from). Still quite satisfied with the final product.
And yes, I know his atomic breath isn't the right color for this era, but heck I like it.

Well thats all of them! I didn't expect it to take as long as it did to complete, but I damn glad I gave it a shot. It was definitely good practice for future artworks.

Anyway, the next artwork will be Neu House related, so until then!
