A lot of people wanted me to release the skin after the desktop was featured on Lifehacker, so here it is. It's a simple lines of codes I packed up together from many great rainmeter skins. I enjoyed creating it because working on something that people liked makes me feel that I accomplished something.One thing about the "To Do", "Academics" and "Event", the little white icon can be clicked to edit its content.
Ah well, enjoy :] Questions and comments are always welcome.

For some reason it tells me I can't extract it into C:/blahblah/skins. Nor does it work to just put it there manually(It won't show up when I manage Rainmeter. Any guesses to what's going on? Thanks in advance.

Hey everybody/anyone,
First, I will need to apologize for not being able to reply to anyone... at all. I've been away from desktop customizing for a over two years and I have not even used Rainmeter since then at all. With most of you know by now, Rainmeter has been updated to a whole different level that I remember. So, I do not think that this Rainmeter skin is as functioning as it was when I released it on March 20, 2009. There's been a lot of reported bugs after just quickly glancing at the comments before and I honestly do not know what can be done (as of now) because the codes used in the most recent skins available in DeviantArt are different now, too. I confirmed this after installing Rainmeter a few minutes before I started writing this. The included skins are fantastic, I also had just tried Kaelri's newly released Enigma and goddamn, to think so much has happened.
I will tell you guys that I'm really interested in what I see with the Rainmeter community. I will try to get back but I'm not obliged to any promises in updating the skin (there are so many skins much better than this one!). But if ever, I would like to make or redesign some of the skins I see in a minimalistic appear, like Gothic Century. Plus, it's summer! Lots of free time (unlike these past horrid years).
Anyway, you guys are still free to modify this skin however you want. And now I will try to get to some answers below:

1.) There is an error: well, this Rainmeter skin is very, very outdated. Especially with the weather configuration. If I remember correctly, some weather providers no longer allow feeds (which is one of what I was using). I don't really know right now if there's a way to fix this. I personally haven't even touched these files since I released it...
2.) Wallpaper: This skin was made when I still had Windows Vista and a laptop. Over the past 2 years, I updated my computer and I didn't bother bringing the old files on my computer. But try this anyway:

3.) Where to put it: If you don't know this... I think you should stop right here. Because the rest of the skin could disappoint you anyway
But if you still insist: Computer\Program Files\Rainmeter\Skins is your directory.

also, my virus-scanners block the website you linked for your wallpapers due to having detected viruses* on the page, could you put up a direct link to the wallpaper image instead?

I've changed my location with the correct code, but whenever I'm only seeing two degree symbols appear as my skin!

ok fixed everything but now i just have one thing. when you used the stack docklet for the shutdown options how did you do that. i got stack docklet, i just dont see what you put or did inside to make it the way u have it.

Hi im having a little problem with the apps bar. I am trying to drag the bar all the way to the bottom of the screen like you have in your pic but it wont let me. It will only let me go a little more then half way. please help

However, I too am having issues getting the RSS feed for weather to work. It simply doesn't display anything, even for the default URL.
Has the weather channel changed their RSS url?

Sorry for asking for help on what you consider an old skin, but I just found out about Rainmeter and I love this skin!
Been trying to edit a few stuff though, and I really don't know how do one thing. I've changed your launcher a bit, to include personal lists of different kinds, like ToDo, To Shop, Fix etc etc... I would like these lists to be situated next to each other instead of being interchangable.
My problem is that I can't understand which commands in the .ini files that makes one list fade away when changning to a new one

Hmm... I believe it should be around the "TIme" config and change the "0,0,0" value to "255,255,255". I haven't used this theme for way too long and I don't even have it in my skin folder anymore either. But feel free to try and change the color value of each string until you find which works best.

Hello there, absolutely love this! I like to have a more functional desktop that looks good, and this fits perfectly! I'm having some problems, though, so some help would be really appreciated.
First, the taskbar at the top. I think you mentioned in the comments somewhere that it was done with rainmeter and linked to a deviant and said to download their config, but what you linked to looks like a visual theme and I don't see a config anywhere in there.
Second, where can I find the background for the taskbar-like thing at the bottom?
Finally, none of the links / launcher links on the rainmeter configs seem to be working. Including the RSS/News launchers, To Do launchers, and links in the RSS, for example. Any idea how I could go about fixing that? Thanks much for any help!
