The N-Zap '83 is a custom Nintendo Zapper modified by Sheldon in Splatoon, to have a "nostalgic look" to it. (It is based on Japan's Nintendo Famicom from 1983)This version of the Nintendo Zapper does not exist in real life. But now it does, in glorious paper form!
Credit to Ninjatoes for creating the original Nintendo Zapper papercraft model pattern. I recolored the orange version and added the extra buttons that the N-Zap '83 sports.
I didn't do too well on the zapper's handle. Maybe next time I get better glue and cutting materials, I'll be able to work on the handle first and make it proper. The trigger still function with this one, but it looks ugly because it ended up somewhat crooked and misaligned. Still decent though. First real life N-Zap '83 I've seen so far (unless proven wrong, like my Splatoon Mario Kart 8 Inkling drawing.)

It was fun making it, even if I messed up a bit. There's not a lot of Splatoon merch so far, so the next best thing right now, with patience and ink, and paper, is papercraft from the community!
Even if it's also customizing the design. Custom stuff is always fun to make!
