Time is something I do not understand,
for what is it but a tool made by men?
Without its creator, does time still stand?
Created just to discern now and then,

or is it? I do not believe that time
heals all wounds; some stay with us forever.
Or are we just reopening them 'til chimes
of death echo in our ears? Forever

in our human world does time seem to flow,
like water running through a stream. Yet it
is just a tool, one that we can’t let go.
Assuming time is real, from whence did it

come? Although time helps me make life more planned,
time is something I do not understand.
