I laughed too hard at this. Those faces, they just, I can't... The fourth and sixth panels... I just laughed out loud.
And Soto on the third and fifth panels is just hylarious. And Jooey in the last panel is like "Soto has gone crazy for good."

ich finds cool wie der Habicht da im Eingang sitzt, lässt ihn aussehen wie einen Greifen
Auch wie Jooey und Soto ihre Krallen benutzen sieht super aus, vor allem Jooey:"Soto du Volldepp D:" eifach herrlich

Yes I don't like it much if cartoon birds use their wing feathers as fingers.
And Bird of prey work much with their feet. They bag prey, grab and hold on.

It's nothing like Guardian of Ga'Hoole, actually. There's much difference between the two. Both unique entirely in their own ways.
Does that mean every comic that includes birds is inspired and created after Guardians of Ga'Hoole? No.
Plus, Guardians of Ga'Hoole is an owl-based book and movie. These are Falcons and Eagles.

Inspiration.
You read "Guardians of Ga'Hoole", had a stroke of inspiration, and thus created Crescent Wing.

No sorry, the Crescent Wing story was created befor we read Ga'Hoole.
And the story and chracters are very different, in my eyes.
Yes both are stories are about birds and the main character is male, but that's about it.
They don't write books or use weapons, and there is no magic or deamons in this story.
(I don't know if you just watched the movie or also read the books cause they are quite different)
You shouldn't judge abook by it's cover.
It's as if I would say all men with beards are Adolf Hitler... or are inspired by him.
I think that's nothing bearded men would like to hear.
