Description
After another van disgorges its cargo of convicted females, Cynthia (5193A) stands ready to show/order them inside the intake building. The new arrivals, mostly in their twenties and thirties, are either naked or wearing only their underwear. They stumble barefoot across the frozen ground, hobbled by plastic band fetters. Just like always, once they get a look at Cynthia some of them begin to scream. This used to annoy her, but Cynthia has been assigned this duty enough times by now that she can tune it out.

Last week, however, was something completely different. Four young women transferred in from the confinement education center. Naked and fettered, they walked capably along keeping their heads-- and their eyes-- lowered. They made no sound as they passed Cynthia and shuffled toward intake. Cynthia heard that they would be assigned to her section after extensive processing including piercings, skewers, tattoos, and for one of them, huge breast implants. Another was going to the Emaciation Unit for a few months as well. Cynthia looked forward to having new girls in her section.

Once the new prisongirls were inside, Cynthia returned to her usual boring routine of carrying concrete blocks.
