one of the theories about who it is in the poster i like is a that it is soundwave:-
"who came to earth a long time ago and is burried under the pyramid in egypt. He was heralded as a god until he was defeated and entombed. this also explains ravages catlike appearance, as the egyptians worship cats etc"

and about story : it'll be about revenge of the decepticons of course, I don't know why people talk about some kind of transformer who's called Fallen, it's stupid. I think it'll be about Megatron's revenge, so... he should be the main character on the poster ^^

Masked lower features, smoldering embers for eyes though with little else to show--I'd have to say Soundwave as well. Now I'm curious as to why they'd choose him to look so much like the 'Con emblem.

exactly, my friend just thinks it's a generic Decepticon who's head is shaped like the Decepticon logo, but that just seems dumb to me.
