I'm pretty sure I've got autism myself, it just means I'm more likely to think and act differently to others. It can be a problem, but it can also be useful.
Anyway, its a stupid thing to use as an insult. The term "autistic" does roll off the tongue quite well though, and only a true buffoon would think "sperg" sounds more insulting. Oh, the horrors of being a canned Star Trek villain.
People who resort to either are probably a few cards short of a full deck themselves at the end of the day.
