Interesting that you went the way of the Cherub for the pawn. Not that I get into chess aesthetics, but having both sides looking different appeals to the imaginative part of my brain.

Well part of it was that the pieces should be representative of what we typically think of "good" and "evil" type characters, so that's probably why I ended up going with the angel-type pawn. It just made more sense than trying to make an analogous light side piece to my black pawn
