BARNEY AND FRIENDS ARE GHOSTS. THEY DEAD

Okay now that I have your attention. u-u

Why are these kids always alone? where's their caretaker who ISN'T a giant dinosaur and his dinosaur friends? Nowhere from my memory. No teachers, or parents in the school.

While drawing this, the song got caught in my head so I went "Wait a second......'Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination?' "

The thought that Barney's been dead for a looooong time came into play.

I mean, even google says he's over 2 million years old????

Kate brought up the point that dinosaurs are extinct, so. Boom

Dead barney. and Baby Bop. and BJ....

This means Barney has lived through a lot. or at least, he witnessed a lot of humanities darkest hours, and brightest moments.

He's seen too many things, but that doesn't mean he's innocent, he's a fucking dinosaur he's LIKELY murdered!

and that's why his eyes are dead. Cause he's dead, inside and out DDD

But he can't let the children know that. gotta let them stay innocent while they got it.
