I cried on that episode...They were mean to be, and they never got the chance to be truly 'together'. It was so sad.

You have improved very much as you have captured a more complex expression overall. Nice colors!

I almost have the *opposite* problem, haha! I get so excited about details that I forget about blocking out some essential forms/shapes first. I guess I developed this habit because I primarily sketch and draw lineart on paper.

That's funny! If only stuff like this could be swapped or taught :-p Using small brushes makes me apprehensive. I get worried that strokes must be perfect or else the picture will be ruined.

I completely get that... I've always had a perfectionist/meticulous attitude towards my artwork, so every time I'm not satisfied with a line when I draw digitally, I undo it and redraw it until I'm satisfied with it... It takes anywhere between 2 to 12 tries before I'm content... This is much more difficult to do with traditional mediums, haha.
But yeah, we're humans, not machines-- we're not meant to produce 100% flawless work! I'm really forcing myself these days to be more "loose" with my pieces... I could really learn a lot from you!

Definitely difficult to do on paper! Even after years of digital art I still have this disinclination to rely on undo or tools like filters. Instead I use Erase because it feels more authentic and less "cheaty"... kind of dumb haha, as long as I think like that I'm not using the full capacity of the digital medium!
Right back at you, I'm super grateful for the watch~!

This came out LOVELY. Beautiful job and I like the "loose" brush stroke application.
