This is a way, way, WAAAAAAAY overdue piece of giftart for one of my oldest online buddies, . It's pretty much thanks to him that I ever decided to get back into the habit of drawing after I gave up before when I was like...seven. Everything I know about Sonic drawing today has pretty much come from the advice and teachings from this guy.

We've known and talked to each other since a year or two ago from the old SoaH City days after pretty much worshipping his Sonic Adventure 2 manga. We never have been able to keep all that much contact thanks to y'know...him living on the other side of the world n' all...but he's always managed to find time to think of others; as well as vastly improve his own works, which is something he should be praised for.

He's drawn me a ton of stuff over time, including a truly fantastic, wonderful pic of the entire "cast" of SoaH City for my 17th Birthday, which I still, to this day, treasure. For a long time I've given myself kicks up the arse for never returning the favour in some way for all he's done for me, until now. It's not much, but it's the very least I could come up with.

Simply - with me on a Sonic Battle high, it's Darkspeeds the Fox and his giant pencil (something which is nostalgic, again, from the SoaH City days) in Sonic Battle form. A vast improvement on my CK version, in my opinion, especially in terms of the background. May look horribly similar to the Tails Wallpaper, but nope, it's done entirely from scratch.

About a three hour job in Photoshop, and to Elson - thanks so much for all your thoughts and efforts toward me in the past. Though I may have seemed a little ungrateful (I can't help it, even though you tell me otherwise), none of it has gone unnoticed. Consider this a small token of my appreciation for everything, Elson-san.
