ZELDA FANGAME YUSS. It is called "Legend of Zelda: Seal of Shadows". Not the most original name ever, but considering the working title was "Accordion of Destiny"... XDThe story may be uploaded soon.
Demos will be released.
Here's the first main boss of the game, the Puppet Deku Colossus. This IS the sprite I'm going to use in the game-- I just need to add some animations.
The gameplay is going to switch between top-down and sidescrolling, depending on which view makes sense in the area... if that makes any sense. So this boss is sidescrolling.
The first stage is similar to the Wham Bam Rock fight in Kirby Superstar ([link] ). For the second stage, he swings around to the right and starts shooting energy balls at you from his mouth, like a Mad Scrub.
I've never done pixel art on such a big scale... this took FOREVER. 8O
The Deku Colossus isn't evil, btw. It's just possessed by Ganondorf's badness.

I had the same idea. I wanted to make a Zelda game which is switching between top view and sidescrolling. I have a lot of ressources for top view but almost nothing for sidescrolling. Maybe we could make a deal of ressources. Let me know please(sorry for my english)

FEAR THE GIANT GLOWING DEKU SCRUB OF DOOM. Actually, it wasn't supposed to look like that at first, but then I was like, "Hey, that looks cool!" XD
I need to make a picture of what he (the Colossus) looks like when he's back to normal... he has all this war paint and stuff, and his "hair" and eyes turn green... it's pretty cool.
There's gonna be six Colossi in the game, one for each sentinent race- Deku, Goron, Zora, Sheikah, Gerudo, and Hylian. This is the only one you fight, though. The Goron Colossus looks awesome, btw.
You play as all the Colossi in the final boss! 8D
