I like your pic's message man, it's a real big problem in our modern societies. People getting fat because of buying too much food, so they made medecines for them, now they can be slim and keep buying as much as they were doing before. They don't really care about dangerous side effects, it's gonna make people consulting specialists with expensive consultation price, and they would be prescripted expensive medecine and/or surgery.

I couldn't agree more. It's about money. We are just patching holes in a boat that is already 3/4 sunk. Where in a day could these people possibly get excercise in the techno civilized life? They just keep patchin up there holes instead of healing. It's cheaper I guess.

I agree obesity is a really big problem and all though this is humorous to those of us who don't have that problem and don't have to deal with it everyday. It seems like you had good intentions on this piece, but it comes off as a little insensitive to people that are overweight.

I live with these two obese guys that wiegh 300+ pounds. The other day these guys ran through my room naked and attempted to dry hump me. Do you know what mental images are burned in my mind! hahaha.
But anyways, these guys are cool, they were just raised on fast food and they understand this. They even agree with me on this art piece. They go run at night with me for miles. It is slightly insensitive, but how could I be sensative about it?

I'm ashamed to admitt that I currently work at a fast food restaraunt. I find it increadibly ironic that my boss (who owns the store) is always complaining about all the fat people who come in, when he's contributing to the obesity problem everyday. But I don't argue with him, cuz he speaks broken english, and he probably wouldn't understand half of what I'd be saying.

haha, exactly. it is the suicide pill, yet it is the only solution for our future generations! This is civilizations pattern of thought.. instead of not working all day in office cubicles, stressing out about money and sitting on our asses watching television, we decide to make a pill and build 24 hour fitness centers to solve the problem.
Never do we actually look at the root of a problem. Instead we find a fix for a problem. Always a fix, never a preventative measure.

i agree, poor diets are very responsible for obesity in most people. But let's trace the problem to it's roots.
After sitting in an office cubicle for 9 hours a day, we come home and play video games, watch TV and go to bed. We drive to work and home everyday and everywhere we go. After all this rushing in the act of paying bills, working, gaming, talking - you gota figure that we rush through the act of EATING. Fast food is a required necessity of the urbanized and domesticated human at this point.
I might go so far as to blame all this on the way we live and the diet of improper nutrients. But then again, i've honestly considered eating people as an extra source for these nutrience. hahaha..... alrighty.

I can't believe that being overwieght could cause that many diseases, but it's true. And you have a good point about that population control problem. However, if people lived to the age of 18 we would still have population growth. a quarter of a million babies are born every day! Thanks to modern day medicine, only about a 30th of that number dies every day.
Isn't that stomach staple bull shit ridiculous? I should have put something about that in there.
