Akihara Matsume's hatred for her nemesis Albert Hachimura is quite visible to her since she remembers the period when he not only proves his arrogance by ruthlessly beating his opponents but when it comes to her, he especially enjoys using her as his primary punching bag. In fact, due to the fact that he's a Half-Breed - something which affects him greatly since he's not accepted by either Japanese or American sides of his family -, he views people as scum yet when it comes to female fighters, he truly inherits an amount of arrogance to the point that he treats them very badly.

Akihara suffers defeat after defeat at his hands, especially having her limbs dislocated and often he beats her up to the point that he still nails her even when she tries to signal surrender until she lays battered and unconscious.

Let's just say...There is a lot of bad blood between them
