Description
Also called the Androsphinx -the term for the man headed sphinx.
To my knowledge Egypt typically had only males. If there were females it was rare and I have yet to see any in Ancient Egyptian art. So this version is male. Egyptian sphinxes seem to not have wings except the Sefer. I'll explain what a Sefer is much later. So keep a look out for my drawing of one.
Note:
Originally I had plans of drawing a side view of the reclining sphinx and have father yawning or something and the son trying to bop his face. But when I was looking a photos of lion cubs, for reference, I found one of a lion and two cubs and one cub was on his head. And I knew I had to do that instead. Minus one cub though. And added a butterfly.
Maybe during mating season is when the Egyptian sphinx and the Greek get together. And they always have twins: one boy and one girl and the boy lives with the father and the girl lives with the mother.
