Description
Here is my interpretation of the Jinn of the RingΒ from the story of Aladdin from the 1001 Arabian Nights.Note: I decided to make this Jinn more Egyptian in design, as well as making her female and incorporating traits of an antelope, as a contrast to the Jinn of the Lamp who is more lion like in appearance.

Yeah, she's friendly, but not as powerful as the genie of the lamp.

Interesting choice of design for both genies/djinns/jinns. Besides some deviant artists had the idea of the genies being magical animals:

For the Ring Genie it's a cheery and bright panda, while the Lamp Genie is an old withered and bitter monkey.Β I find genies/djinns to be the hardest to figure out what they look like. They either look like giant magical people or just simply demons or animal/human hybrids from some of the old paintings. Though I will admit, History Channel's True Monster'sΒ depiction of the genie looks interesting and at least go in detail without putting in too much. Besides reading about origins and uses of genies in mythology seemed too confusing and complex.

Well, my genies are more human looking with some animal traits incorporated, rather than being straight up anthropomorphic animals.

Hmm. Quite a contrast, i gotta say. The Jinn of the Ring looks very wonderful, beautiful, and interesting. She definitely has the egyptian theme going for her, and appears as regal as the Jinn of the lamp. All in all, good work with this one, just like the other.
