Description The planet's surface is drowned in the air we breathe and fly through.  This, we take advantage of - we can explore the world in ways entirely foreign to the creatures roaming the surface.

I see it all the time  Is it something you enjoy looking at?

I'm not really the biggest fan but i can respect it

But i don't see it often.  Lurking on the front page gets nothing good

I love the way some of these structures, for example the middle brown/orange part look like brush strokes, creating a very solid part of the image, while the outer part is more or less falling apart

The shapes and colors remind me quite a lot of a classical painting. There is such subtlety of color; embers of orange, ochre and earth here complement the blues, which have a wonderful range of sky to slate. The figure is reminiscent of something angelic or otherwise winged as the white/off-white/eggshell seems to delineate wings. There is definitely a sense of height, like floating or flying, with the figure suspended against the background as it is. Very nice. I like it a lot.

Thank you  I really love how the textures turned out, especially on the blue sections.  This is one of the (very rare few) times that framing didn't take an eternity...actually, this was pretty quick to make overall too, and I'm happy with how it looks XD

Thank you  Since I feel like I've been pretty lax in trying to push myself technically, I'm trying a few old techniques that have grown dusty again different things to get gears in my mind rolling in new ways, and it seems to be working so far!

I've noticed that the less you stress over the technical stuff the easier it is to get your thoughts on paper--the technical stuff just comes by mucsle memory (as proven here )

I make artwork purely for fun, and only stress over the framing.  And this /always/ happens, because trying to fit stuff into a rectangle is obnoxious, especially with a medium as mutable as fractals  There's a lot of muscle memory in getting the shapes refined and patterns working -- but part of the reason I'm spicing things up is because it has felt mostly the same as of late!

That makes sense...heck, i went to an art show and had to frame plain ol' sketches, and it took me a bazillion years XD

Either way, it's nice

I'll write some words then  I'm trying some new steps in my workflow, spicing up what I'm doing a bit.  While stylistically, I'm doing small things at a time, I'm making more use of the tools I have and am trying to expand what I can accomplish with them.  So far, things seem very promising!
