Heh. Layouts are fun. This was one of my assignments for Layout class. Lineart version first, then the toned version. And I'm not that stellar at pastels, I'll have you know. Our assignment required we use monochromatic blue for the tonal version.

Animation flat-view for the scenario we were given. The scene was that it's dawn, and the pirate mice have just returned from their time-traveling adventures and managed to make it back to Savannah in the 1750s. So they're celebrating their return and their haul of loot from all over time. And I included a little Egyptian hawk boy because I thought it would've been cool if they found some friends along the way. X3 Squee.

We had to include items from medieval england, ancient Egypt, ancient Rome, and sometime in the future (after 2006).
