Well this took long enough. Here we get to know a tiny bit about Brandey's character. I realized during the making of one of the earlier issues that Brandey and Aaron have somewhat similar personalities (very standoffish and quick to anger) so I thought Id'e cook up a pun to widen their personality gaps a bit. This was also pretty good background practice (For all the pain it caused ;_; ).
This also marks the beginning of what is likely to be one of many side plots involving Snow and his antics while Aaron is out taking his supposed revenge.
You can probably tell what that merill was supposed to represent in-game.
On a side note: Thank you to you guys who showed up to the live streams that I hosted in the past few weeks. You definitely helped me keep focused and get this thing done while all kinds of other distractions were abound.
Hmmm, that other poocheyna seems familiar.....nah, it's probably just a coincidence.

Ah yes, it's at times like these that you wonder if 100% encouragement all the time with no reality checks is actually good for a kid. Yes, the trees could use some more work. I hate trees rgagfndkeTcnvjmg! Personally I don't see how this could bite Travis in the ass later....there are far more painful places that Brandey could bite him.

I call him Travis now as a way to slowly disambiguate myself from the character since i sort of regret the decision to have this run star myself. But I don't want to do a massive retcon and disrupt the story over it.

I don't know if I've ever seen Splash humor this super-effective. The shot of Magikarp shooting down is positively majestic.

This was... amazing. Awesome, as usual. It's really noticable how much effort you've put into improving.
I have to say, strongest magikarp ever, I loved the sound effects so much, favourite moment was "I'll take my cash now".

I can't quite put my finger on what the style reminds me of...
I want to say it reminds me of a cartoon, but I can't put my finger on a specific one. But it's cool! As is the character interaction, and your use of other wild pokemon/opponents and their pokemon.

The opponents and wild pokemon are a good way to introduce a scene in an amusing way or sparking conversations in a way that's not too forced

do you merge your stuff too? i see some small differences in the two panels with Aaron looking for pokeballs, i always merge my backgrounds if i have to duplicate so i have everything right away when selecting and not just the base layer. if i still need more background stuff i just start on the blank part again and go on as if i made a new page XD
