Rose was just for Sprout Tower, man. And she rocked it. My entire team is amazing. And Fiz rocked that gym, as well. Once he learned thundershock, everything was a freaking breeze.
I hate the way Falkner always gloats about his dad's pokemon. THEN WHY ISN'T HE THE GYM LEADER? Stupid Pidgeotto and roost. I would have put the whole battle in there, but I was too lazy. Just summed it up.

Nuzlocke takes a horrible turn when you take every K.O. as a kill, especially with the gym leaders. Like, every gym leader must have reserves for reserves for reserves for the sheer amount of people coming in and killing everything for a gym badge.

They are prepared for the sacrifice. After a while, they begin to detach themselves from the Pokemon they wield, start advising trainers not to get attached...not to nickname or to care. Their life is a hole of misery at the sheer loss they witness day in and day out. The suicide rate must be high.

Maybe that's why there are so many and all the kids strive to be the champion instead of a measly gym leader. Maybe that's what Volkner's problem was in Platinum... and I killed his pokemon over again as he was helpless against a garchomp...
