once upon a time, bryon got bored and decided to break out his new set of 120 prismacolor pencils. as he had a lack of ideas on what to draw, he went searching the wonderful world wide web on google and found a very intriguing poster for Led Zeppelin. liking it very much he proceeded to make his own drawing of it. this is the fruits of his (my) labors. there are a lot of mistakes here (and a bad case of scanneritis as it's not back to full health yet), but i will leave it to you to spot them and not mention them in your comments.
Crit is welcome though, and comments are always looked upon kindly.

Looks great except for one huge problem. You used black. The black killed it. You never use straight black as a dominant color. You have to use a color scheme and use something nearly as dark as black, but not black. Like a really really dark green or blue or red or orange or purple would have worked perfectly. Black pretty much disrupts all colors around it. Since you used so much of it, the whole piece falls apart. I'm not saying it's bad otherwise; I'm just giving you some honest critique from one artist to another.

if you're begging for critique, i guess i'll say the feathers look a little sketchy. that's about it. i haven't seen the original poster, but this is pretty sick.

Ah the icarus of the zepplin records. Classic alright. I love Zep, i love the album and i love the colors you used here. This is why prismacolors are the best people. Art supplies really reflect quality in cost. Only gripe is with the legs being alittle off center. other than that, great color work, good contortion on the body, good piece.
