For JazZeke's Contest. Pic of JazZeke's Beastwars O.C. Moonhunter fighting Silvermender's Whiplash.The pic is based on this [link] fan fic.
I had a hard time inking this. The pen I have flowed to much and created thicker lines than I wanted. It made it difficult to do small details. It was a Pilot Precise V5. Probably not a real good pen for art I guess.

I can always tell when its your work on my devwatch--its that distinct cross between woodburning and Markergura. The style particularly suits the BWs continuity here.

Its a good thing. Markergura is this kick ass artist known for his comic book quality art, and wood burning is art heavily burned into wood with high detail.

Holy crap dude! This is wicked COOL! Both maxies look pretty badass in the pic; I've never drawn Whip fighting before and watching her...well, fighting, is absolutely amazing. Great job dude!

Aww shucks, thanks. Really glad you like it. As you know, it took a lot of practice sketches. Whip's a pretty complex character to draw. It was challenging.

Looking good, but I noticed this:
Moonhunter's long neck is long...
And yeah, if the pen doesn't feel right, get rid and buy a new one - preferably thinner.
