Very pretty. I love her pursed lips and downcast eyes. They're perfect for her pale skin and steel grey hair. The blood breaks up those steel tones and adds a curious aspect to her. It adds depth beyond self indulgent musings. It adds reality in it's stark redness. Cast as it is next to a partially obscured symbol. Very cool piece really gets the mind going.

The marking on the stone and character altogether reminds me of a series I read called Throne of Glass

I don't know why but when I look at this picture it makes me think that the story behind it is that all of the faeries left the world through that gate to find a better home and she got left behind somehow and is just clawing at the closed gate, desperate to get to the rest of her friends and family.
