A 2-hour speedpaint I did just now
Just wanted to try another style and draw one of the things I love the most: dinosaurs!
This is a coelophysis (tricky name, you pronounce it sell-o-fy-sis) and it lived in the triassic period. It was a carnivor and preyed on small creatures and dinosaur babies.
If any of you have watched BBC's "Walking with Dinosaurs": this is the little bugger with the weird sound XD

Hmmmmmm.... Den ser ut att vara VÄLDIGT framtung O.O. färgläggning vart bra!
Men still, framtung, för kort svans, för kraftig hals.. Men annars var den bra! sorry, dino nörd här -.-, och jag är väldigt petig när de gäller dino anatomi .

Ser vad du menar, men tror inte problemet är kraftig hals utan för lång överkropp :/ Jag använde referens, men det blev inte perfekt. Och längre svans ska det va ja.

just 2 hours? i have to say i'm impressed! really like the balance between details and softer brush-strokes!
i'm having trouble seeing how the front-hands bend, though..but maybe this dinosaur is just built that way? i wouldn't know.

Maybe a little more than 2, maybe less XD kinda lost track of time, which is an amazing feeling!
Its hands/arms are a bit weird, but they are built that way, in that weird angle. Because it's a kinda bony creature, you can see the angle of the shoulder blades clearly (sticking together with the arms).
As for the wrists and hands... eeh maybe I could have made them look more believeable XD
