My Tim Burton Drawing.

I have LOVED drawing this piece!! This idea for a drawing has been stuck in my head for years, I just never had the confidence to just go for it and draw it! After years of drawing interesting photos or movie posters, I’ve decided to make my own composition up and this is what I’ve come up with! When I stumbled across this image of Tim Burton striking this pose, I knew this was the one to make this idea happen, it was then making the hard choice of which legendary characters to choose to add to his wild and crazy hair... There’s just too many to choose from with this guy! I decided to pick characters he’s created out of his own head and Edward Scissorhands was my main first choice, it was one of the earliest movies I remember watching as a child and probably my favourite character of his. I then decided on the very famous and much loved Jack Skellington and my final choice was very easy, Beetlejuice! Such a classic!
Arranging them in his hair was fun to do, adding pieces of hair worming between Edwards Scissor hands and then having bits of hair between Jacks fingers and then finally having hair wrapping around the back of Beetlejuice’s head. His hair was probably the most fun part to draw on this, so simple but yet so affective against and mixing with the characters. I decided no colour was needed, just a classic black and white piece. I’m happy I finally did this and I’m extra happy to be able to share this with you all
