For me it reflects peace and being home. As vast as it is I know there are secret places to sit in and feel the presence of mother earth.

I agree! The feel of the wind, the vibration of the mountains itself! Fell in love with it when I climbed the summit,
I hope soon to take you up on your offer! xx

I am looking forward to it. Most of my latest images have been done on walks with fellow dA artists and we had a wonderful time. I fell in love with snowdonia when I drove through the Ogwen Valley for the first time. Fog was hanging low around the mountains and the sun was just rising with colors that just simply were out of this world. I had to stop at the side of the road cause I started crying. My boy thought I was nuts but it was just so beautiful. Never will I remember that first time and never have I ever seen something so spectacular in my life. xx

bleak, austere, moody... a lonely, tormented hero walks here for hours brooding while the wind howls around the jagged rocks.... (shiver)

but it's not like this in summer, is it? I bet it's gorgeous then, and not letting anyone brood

oh then it's just perfect for a short visit! Don't people get SAD disorders? I need the sun constantly. I like brightness - except when I have a migraine that is.

Yes.. SAD is a recognised illness now. Took them long enough to recognise it... same as baby blues or traumatic stress disorders. xx
