This was for the CGHub.com challenge- [link]I never liked Alice in Wonderland as a kid. I only saw the Disney version and the scene with the walrus eating the baby oysters was too creepy for me. This is my tribute to how that film made me feel, so the characters all have a psychotic twist to them

You definitely nailed the whole "creepy factor" to Alice in Wonderland. :0 I absolutely adore the Cheshire cat and how she's holding him; he looks like such a little monster that it makes him adorable. lol
For a second I thought this was real media (until I remembered seeing a WIP shot a little while ago), so you did good with the textures! As far as critique is concerned, hmm...I don't see a lot, but Alice's right arm seems either too long or too far forward. Or, perhaps, it doesn't look as effected by the perspective as the rest of her and the other characters.
The only other thing I noticed (and it's not really critique) is that the grass looks very flat. I don't know if that's because you wanted it to look like a manicured lawn, but they almost seem disconnected from it (the shadows help ground them, though). That's more of less my opinion when I study this really hard. You could maybe add some grass shoots around their feet, just little sprigs here and there.

Thanks! A couple of things I would change now would be to have the Mad Hatter holding a tea cup. It looks a bit off balance to me since everyone else is holding something. Oh well!
Alice's perspective is bugging me, even though I drew it based on photo reference. I think the arm at her side might be too long, I think I had to eyeball that one since it wasn't like that in the reference. I was really pleased about the textures, so thanks for noticing!
I think the part I'm happiest the most about is the Mad Hatter's hair. If you watch on my Ustream, I was having the hardest time with it- [link] So I'm happy it looks how I wanted to in the end!
