Idea totally inspired by this sickeningly cute image by Shoomlah:I felt like I had to do some fanart of some fanart because Shoomlah's little Andalite baby needed a friend!
Those stripes are positively addicting! And if you are curious, they are as fun to draw as they look
I really like the idea of the baby Andalites having splotchy markings like a lot of baby ungulates have. It really puts an extra alien twist to the babies
Funny how plain old earth animals can seem so extraterrestrial!Well, the little girl is completely curious about what her friend has behind his back, she canβt wait to see the surprise!

Try making the fur on the boy Andalite a tad red, it'll make it look like its blushing.

I still get the feeling that more-pastel-colored female Andalites originated with Aldrea, and then fans built upon that with their fan art. I don't know - maybe it's just me.
(That's not to say that I don't like it. I think it should be kept if there's ever a serious film/TV adaptation.)

I'm pretty sure it's in the books that said female Andalites were purple'ish and males were the blue colour. I can't say exactly where but it might have been in the Hork Bajir Chronicles or the book where Ax met that female Andalite
If you were talking about the shade of purple I used, well that was just an artsy choice to match with the piece, since they're babies and all!
