Randomness; a play on her name (which is Fonshae) just a quickie. Drawing in this moleskin is great when ur in uncomfortable drawing environments, like a park, or the subway, the plane, etc., but I miss the tooth of drawing paper soo much right now. I love the pourous look it gives, I've grown accustomed to it over the years. It have the same effect on graphite that the noise filter in photoshop gives a painting. It kind of just pulls all ur strokes together and gives it an overall unity, did this a few months ago, just wanted to post something.Related content

love the portrait, very sensual. You have such skill with line flow and thickness. There really is nothing like drawing on good paper with graphite. its very fulfilling

Its nice to see you back to posting man, and this is a great to see you bust out the graphite pencil on. I'm digging the shading values you hit on the main piece, and the other pieces you can still feel the wait of the lines even though they weren't fully rendered/completed. Been a long time viewer, and never took the time to post a comment till now. Its good to see more African American artists such as yourself and Le Sean making moves in this world. It gives me the courage to keep thrusting for my own personal goals, and keep the drive to pick up my skills even more. I was curious if this character is apart of Kinetic Kartel? Ill lines as usual man, and keep up the hustle mang! lol

That's really interesting to me to hear the type of paper you prefer. I always wonder that about other artists. I've always preferred super smooth bright white bristol. I like the smoothness of the moleskin books but i don't like the yellow.
I bet your favorite medium has a lot to do with paper preference...

It's a sketchbook/notebook of great quality. Actually it's Moleskine (the 'e' was missing)
