Description Sewer Creepers

Shellcreepers, Sidesteppers and Fireballs all debuted in the very first Mario game: Mario Bros. Spinies subsequently replaced Shellcreepers in most future versions of the game. These varied creatures infested the Mushroom Kingdom sewers, causing so many plumbing problems that the famous Mario brothers had to intervene.

If a Koopa is relieved of its shell, colloquially, that Koopa is now considered a Beach Koopa. The same applies to Shellcreepers. Beach Koopas and Shellcreepers (despite their savage behavior), both wear undergarments underneathe their shells. Typically tanktops, white T-shirts, or shorts with embarrassing decals.

The shells of Spinies are actually incredibly flexible. Reminiscent of Porcupos, this flexibility allows Spinies to roll up into a spiked-ball shape, this is known as a Spiny Egg in military lingo. Spinies enlisted under Bowser’s Lakitu divisions are usually tasked to remain in their Spiny Eggs to soften the blow of being thrown overboard. Depending on the geography of an area occupied by Bowser’s forces, Spiny Egg airstrikes may not be a viable approach as ground that is too soft will simply embed the Spiny into the ground, leaving the spiked-soldier mostly defensless.

The tips of Sidestepper chelipeds do not change color when their stress levels elevated, the tips of their claws will always remain an orange-yellow color.

The ghostly green Fireballs that wander the sewers are nearly identical to the fireballs that the famous Mario brother: Luigi (Smash Bros.) is capable of generating from his hands. Both fireballs do not adhere to the mortal realm’s concept of gravity and instead continues moving along in a single direction, ignoring gravity altogether.
