The duo! They are both badass, but very afraid of chickens.
While building these guys, I never pictured robo Link as the star of his own game, but pictured that these characters are brought into the world by Ganon from an alternate dimension? Maybe snagged them through a time portal from a future etc. or maybe he built them :S
anyway, see them more as boss or side characters rather than replacing Link(s)

If Robo-Link's a boss to fight Link, does that mean Robo Dark Link is on your side? Or do you fight regular first, then it realizes you're good, and later you both fight Dark, empowered by Ganon's magic?
