I know how to use layers, but up to now I do not like anything I've done,
it seems the first layer is distorted always.

Always my pleasured dear Chas. I really do not understand why there are so many issues with DA and stash lately once would think that after all those years the same issues would not keep happening but they do no matter how many times we tell them about it in our status post, journals or notes to the help desk. It is always the same thing send us a screen shot. A screen shot of what???? an empty field ???? Well at least for the time being it is working LOL

Yes, my dear friend - I sympathize completely. The only other rational explanation I can think of is that such things are an integral part of the current system, for better or for worse, and that to eradicate them would entail an overhaul of the entire structure...

The dark background brings out the bright color on top - I love to use black as a background for this reason...

yea you are correct, most celebrations will be at night.
Having a black background gives the design content more prominence
