Description These Tiny polymer clay meals are barely bigger than a quarter. Even the plates are made of clay. I used paints and sealers to accent and detail but over all this is all clay.
These were made for a personal swap of crafster.org for Writer78. I hope she likes them.

First off, these are so cool. I really love the 2 with bacon, can't beat anything with bacon in it X3. Also I would recommend you not use so much translucent clay when you make your potato ships, you can see with some of the chips that they are a bit too see-through.

Thank you for the tip!
This is a pretty old post (about 7 years old) and I used to be really heavy handed with the translucent clay. Thankfully I have gotten better with mixing my colors.

That's good. I really like the little clay food figures people on here do. They're so cute and realistic. Yours are no exception.

Theses are awesome!!
Dumb question, but what are sealers?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chat-noir In reply to TurquoiseDemon73 [2013-01-25 03:55:27 +0000 UTC]

Not a dumb question at all. They are like a varnish, it's a clear coating (that can be matte or glossy) that seals an item and protects it from being beat up.

what did u use for the gloss and where you got it?

like art man!!!!

chat-noir In reply to DoushinjiLuv [2012-01-08 19:41:45 +0000 UTC]

For these I use polyacrylic floor varnish. But any acrylic based coating works for clay pieces. Triple Thick Glaze is another brand I currently use on my pieces.
