Synopsis:
Aging telepath Evil Overlord Xander has traded his youthful dream of joining the US military and using his superpowers to benefit humanity for over-the-hill cynicism, self-imposed exile on his private zoo-for-crazy-people Eynhallow Island, and a serious case of May-December midlife crisis. And technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.

For the first few panels it looked like Marozi was attempting to do something horrible to Kore; the way he pushed her into the alleyway and pinned her against the dumpster while saying "It's finally happening!" set off alarms. Fortunately Kore has that knife and knew how to use it; I have a feeling that if tentacle-guy didn't mention a quest then said knife would have found it's way into his torso.

He's a very odd character. I'd guess he's testing her restraint. She didn't freak out, and now he's going to use her. He practically gave her that knife too, it's not like he didn't know she was armed.
