This is Beautiful!!! How in the world did you draw so many AWESOME backgrounds! Especially the ones that were slightly different perspectives OF THE SAME AREA!!! That's so cool that you can keep the different items from contradicting each other!!!!
(Panel 5 has a thought bubble dot without a thought. It's over the lady's right shoulder and "in" the gate. Shhhhh.... don't tell anyone.)

The secret is 3D models. Once the model is built--background frames
can be rendered from different perspectives.

well kind of, but more math (PBR shaders with spooky cool fresnel)... www.blender.org is my awesome free 3d software. Everything starts out with pencil on paper though, lines and blueprints and storyboards.
