Description
Here's a recent commission I did for famed indie author Amanda Witow (buy her must-have mythological adventure series here! www.agwitow.ca/online-store) of Medusa, cast out by the gods, among her fellow gorgons, bewailing her fate at the cruel hands of ... who cursed her, was it Zeus or Athena, those two are absolute savages. Read the Iliad if you haven't already. The events of the troad are highly illuminating. Yeah, I just had to use that word. Here's your scholarly link for the day, Lawrence of Arabia, commander of the legions at the battle of Armageddon , Thomas Edward Lawrence's highly entertaining no-nonsense translation of the Odyssey in normal understandable English. Read all his stuff. Read Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Read the Mint. It's nothing like what people say about him, it's nothing like the movie (except for Peter O'Toole being, like, his clone), and this dude has a sense of humor and pathos like very very few. Highly recommend.
...aaaaaaand here's your non-scholarly link for the day. (admit it, you saw that coming a mile away). Xander's Comic Book Adventures!
